Lunch With Veterans

To thank them for their Bravery, Hard work, and Dedication to our Country, the Immanuel Lutheran PTO is sponsoring a Lunch with Veterans. If you know a retired or active Military person, please invite them and their spouse to join us anytime between 10:45am-12:45pm and receive a free lunch. History Tour Wreath Fundraiser

The Sophomore Class will be selling Christmas wreaths and other decorative items to raise money for the 2020 ILS History Tour. These items make a great gift for friends and family as well as add a nice festive feel to your home. If you would like to see what items are offered be sure to look for flyers posted around the school or speak with a Sophomore. Please consider purchasing one of these items from a Sophomore or contact Mr. Ben Hanel directly benjamin.hanel@immanuelmankato.org

PTO Fundraiser

Last year the PTO was able to raise almost $1,000 to support the school by volunteering for the Kiwanis Holiday Lights. Help us do that again this year.

Concessions: We need 5 people from 4:40 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 5 in the slightly heated concessions area.

Night at the park: Our night to work at the park will be Thursday, December 26 from 4:40 to 9 p.m. We need 8 people ages 16 or older. (More are needed if we split shifts).

Clean Up: While it may be a bit chilly, we need at least 3 volunteers (ages 12 and older) to help with taking down the lights and displays on January 1, 4 or 5, plus 1 volunteer to remove the decorations from the ILS Christmas tree in the morning on January 1.

Ready to volunteer? Be sure to contact Sarah Kruse as soon as possible. When arriving at the park, sign in and list Immanuel Lutheran School Mankato as your organization so we get fundraising credit for your volunteer time.

Notification to Parents and Employees

Our school has been inspected or has been re-inspected for asbestos materials according to the requirements of the Asbestos Hazard Response Act. Our school building does have some asbestos containing materials, as do most schools in the country. This material is in good condition and we have an asbestos management plan in place to help maintain it and keep it from becoming a hazard to health. We do regular six month surveillance of this material to ensure that it is staying in stable condition. By law, we must notify staff and parents each year of the availability of this plan. The plan is available for you to see by contacting either the school secretary or Kyle Hulke.

Sincerely, Kyle E. Hulke

Newspapers Needed

Please drop off newspapers in the school office or 7th & 8th grade room. Thanks!
