Uniform Return

Early Release
There will be a regularly scheduled early release on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Students should be picked up or ride the bus home at 1:00pm.
Parent-Teacher Conference Meals

Kiwanis Lights ILS Work Night
The Immanuel Lutheran School night at Kiwanis Holiday Lights is on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Volunteers are needed to direct traffic that evening. Help is also needed to decorate/set-up the park on Nov. 4 and teardown/clean-up on January 1, 6 or 7.

Kwik Trip Scrip
You can support ILS Athletics by purchasing Kwik Trip scrip cards in the school office. They come in denominations of $5, $10, $20, and $25.

ILS History Tour Fundraiser
The Sophomore Class is raising money for next year’s trip to Washington DC. They will be selling Christmas Wreaths and other assorted greenery. All orders need to be placed by Nov. 7. Pick-up will be on Nov. 18. Direct questions to Benjamin Hanel at

ECHO Food Shelf Stuff-a-Truck
Immanuel is participating once again in Echo Food Shelf’s Stuff-a-Truck event. This is but one way we can show our Christian charity to our community by helping provide food for those in need of food during the upcoming holiday season. This year there will be a competition between classes for the largest weight donated, every ounce will count. The winning class will receive an Ice Cream treat provided by the Immanuel Lutheran Student Council. The classes will be grouped by room for grades K-8 and the high school classes will be separated by grade level. There will be crates in each K-8 grade classroom for non-perishable food donations through Thursday, Nov. 16. High School students may drop off donations in crates that are in their advisor’s room or office. Final weigh in will take place before school on Friday, Nov. 17 after which we will be shipping the donations out.
Fall Play
You’re invited to the ILS Drama Club’s fall play, THE DAY THE INTERNET DIED. There will be a dinner theatre performance on Friday, Nov. 17. Doors open at 5:00pm, dinner at 6:00pm, performance at 7:30pm. Tickets to the dinner theatre are $20.00. There will also be performances on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7:30pm and Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2:00pm. Free-will donations will be accepted to cover expenses.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences for grades K-6 will be on Monday, Nov. 20 and on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 3:30-8:00pm each day. To schedule your time slot(s) please use the link www.picktime.com/ils. Online signup will end at 4 pm on Friday, Nov. 17.
Parent-Teacher Conferences for grades 7-12 will not require an appointment, but will be on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the church basement in an open house style.
