Much of my enjoyment of the retreat in Trego, WI began weeks earlier in my eager anticipation of it. Having been to previous retreats, I knew much of what to expect and this year even exceeded my expectations.
The CLC Youth Conference 2003, … held at Camp Agape in Benton, Tennessee, … was an unqualified success!

School Rebate Collection Update
While every child should be instructed regarding the difference between right and wrong, we Christians realize that our goal must include more than mere instruction in morality. Young men and young women may well be moral and still lack saving faith.

Immanuel voters have approved the creation of a “Mission Helper Fund” to assist members of our congregation, who are willing to volunteer their time and talents to serve our Lord in this way. Immanuel’s Mission Helper Fund would also be available to assist members who volunteer for future Mission Helper projects.

A favorite library item for a many of Immanuel’s children has been the set of Quigley Village video tapes.
A “vocation” is a “calling” from God. It involves God’s intentions for many different aspects of our lives. It is through these various vocations that God seeks to guide and bless us in life.
In Mankato, there are two main thrift stores which receive donations of used items for resale to the public. A consideration of the purposes of these two organizations reveals that one is clearly a better choice when we have items to donate or when we wish to purchase items from a thrift store.
