Parent and Teacher Association

The Parent and Teacher's Association was organized in 1928. There is no record of the minutes of the Parent and Teacher's Association meetings for the year 1928-29 on account of the accidental death of the secretary, Mr. Hugo Torgler. However, the first meeting of the group during the school term 1929-30 was held at Immanuel Lutheran School on December 5, 1929.

The objectives of the organization are: To promote child welfare in home, school, church and community; to bring into closer relation the home and the school so that the parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the training of the child.

The present officers are: Mrs. Armin Rauschke, president; Mrs. George Speck, vice-president; Miss Eunice Sauer, secretary and Mrs. Edwin Ario, treasurer.
