Ladies Aid
The Ladies Aid of Immanuel Lutheran Church held its first meeting in the church on April 16, 1903. At the organizational meeting 35 members signed the constitution as charter members. The first officers were: Mrs. A.F. Winter, president; Mrs. Nick Harris, secretary and Mrs. Lindner, treasurer.
The Ladies Aid endeavors to do various types of charity work, and decorates the church with flowers on various occasions.
The meeting of this organization is held on the first Thursday of each month in the Sunday School auditorium. At present there are 93 members in the organization.
The present officers are: Mrs. William Schwandt, president; Mrs. Emil F. Peterson, vice-president; Mrs. Otto Radatz, secretary; and Mrs. Paul Hippauf, treasurer.
